Frequently Asked Questions
• Which geographical area do you cover?
Currently, we operate in Teesside, Cleveland and Darlington. We aim to expand into other areas in due course.
• What happens when I make a booking?
We will arrange a mutually convenient time for us to visit you. The first 15 minutes of the consultation are free and we will use this time to demonstrate the various styles and options for the cards. If you wish to go ahead, we will complete an order form from you and take payment. We will then draw your baby and create the cards according to your exact wishes before hand-delivering them to you.
• How can I pay?
Currently, we take cash or cheque.
• Can the drawing be done when baby is still in hospital?
No. At no stage will we ever interfere with professional care. We suggest that an appointment is booked for when mother and child is nicely settled at home.
• When can the drawing be done?
We have appointment slots at 9.30am, 12noon and 3pm. However, we are very flexible and will work with you to find a suitable time.
• Can the drawing be done from a photograph?
Our preference is that we draw the baby in the flesh. This is so that we can maintain our very high standards by ensuring we capture the baby’s features and form appropriately. However, where this isn’t possible then we can draw from a photograph. Photographs submitted to us in this way must be at least A5 size (21cm x 14.8cm) and of high quality and should show the baby’s whole face.
